Chief Financial Officer – CFO

We are seeking a dynamic CFO, to join an international Group with Great Vision and with Excellence as a natural Matter!

Our client is a Multinational Company   with a long track record in developing new products, and innovative applications for the food, feed, animal health and pharmaceutical industries. Advantageous Partner in Regulatory Matters. Leader Company, with breadth of experience across many markets and countries in Europe. The business is a significant force in the pharmaceutical industry with a strong reputation built in over 70 years.

The Successful Candidate

A natural and inspiring leader with energy and vision, you will have a recognised financial qualification. Significant proven experience in a progressively responsible financial leadership role, ideally in industry, chemical, medical or similar sectors.

Your previous record of accomplishment will demonstrate ability to balance technical know-how and commercial pragmatism.

Finally, your will possess the gravitas to inspire confidence in all external stakeholders and be relentlessly results and success focused. You will work as a part of a leadership team to achieve ambitious growth.

  • Strong people management skills with the ability to be a leader and a ‘doer’
  • Strong ability to translate financial information and concepts for non-financial managers inside the Company.

Responsibilities will include

  • Complete ownership of all financial and transactional aspects of the business
  • Establish a solid financial foundation and forecast using appropriate systems that will allow the business to scale effectively globally
  • Review and manage our accurate forecasting, minimize unnecessary spend, review pricing strategies, review sales compensation plans, and improve processes for sustainable and efficient growth
  • Provide accurate, consistent, and robust  metric reporting on a regular basis
  • Develop a comprehensive set of KPIs and Balanced Scorecard for the business
  • Manage financial planning, financial operations, budgeting, compliance, and expenditures
  • Manage company policies regarding capital requirements, debt, taxation, equity, disposals and acquisitions, as appropriate
  • Manage company cashflow internationally
  • Manage the taxation and accounting reporting globally
  • Contribute fully to the development of company strategy across all areas of the business, challenging assumptions and decision-making as appropriate and providing financial analysis and guidance on all activities, plans, targets
  • Identify relevant R&D programmes and manage grant applications
  • Ensure the integrity of the financial records

Location: The position will be based in Ticino with international responsibilities.

Willingness and ability to travel is a must.

 

To be considered for the role you must have a proven international experience and Management level experience with industrial / manufacturing companies.
